Garden Goodies

While I have been working my way through way to many scrapbooking projects I have been putting off, the garden has been doing it's own work, we are getting at least one bag a day of vegetables to share with family and friends. Need to bag today's goodies up and find a good home for them!

More from Monday

It is amazing how many little treasures I am finding, not sure how long ago I bought this, I think it is an extra from 2 years ago that I made everyone who went on Bob's annual Short Bus Christmas Lights Tour. All I need to do now is wait for the snow next winter and Tyler will have a great little brag book to send to MeMe.

Still More

Had 2 extra kits from a class last fall, so I whipped them up and the are ready to go. This will be a perfect last minute gift this Christmas, just need to add the Christmas photo's

More

Forgot about this little Brag book from Daisy Dee's. Noni B. I think you may need to recive this for Baby Grace when she arrives!

Tearing it up on Tuesday

I am continuing to clean it out and use it up, on a roll today. This is an album I started a couple of years back to put on the living room side table to remind me every day of what we should be grateful for, it's finally done and in it's place!

More from Monday

So this is the last for the day, I finished up a Bo Bunny class kit I had started a few days ago then tackled the Damask Kit of Donna Downey's from last fall, start to finish, turned out so cute!

I think it has been a very productive day, on to the garden lets see what it has been producing today

Still Monday

So it is still Monday and I am still taking a bite out of the piles in the scraproom, finished two more mini books, I had started them both awhile back but never seemed to get them finished, until TODAY that is

Monday

Going to try and see what all I can accomplish on Monday!!

Since I don't have an hour commute to and from work each day I need to be getting lots more done. So far I have finished Theresa Collins recipe book kit and gotten Kelli's Save the Date invitations finished! YAAAA.

It's only 1:00 so I should be able to knock out a few more class samples before the day is done.

Fathers Day workout

Aunt Sherry set Tyler up in her workout room after getting back from the pool to work off a few more calories! This is one room that Nanny does NOT have, if Ty needs to lift weights he is off to Aunt Sherry's! He really liked watching himself in all of the mirrors she has, check it out.

Water Bug

We spent Fathers Day at Aunt Sherry and Uncle Mark's, before supper we had to have a little time at the pool to continue to work on Tyler's swimming skills. The kid is a fish, we have a time keeping his head above water, all he wants to do is dive under water and swim around, he hardly comes up for a breath. And he loves the new slide, I think it is way to big for such a little guy.

So I have lots of leftovers from the July club kit after finishing my 6 pages so decided to just play around a bit, check out this cute card holder with greeting cards, I have only done one of the cards so far but looks like it will hold 4 or 5 with the envelopes when I am done. I used the Scorpal of course, Martha Stewart punch, leftover brads from my stash and leftover paper from the Emporium club kit. I am all about the use it up, wear it out, or do without old rules my Grandmother taught us, I tell you I am having a great time watching my pennies this year and I don't think leftovers ever looked so good! Send me an e-mail if you would like the cutting directions

I can grow Broccoli!

The garden continues to keep me happy and busy. I slipped on my PINK crock's today that Tyler gave me, (we call them our dancing shoes), and braved the rain and mud to harvest my first broccoli. So beautiful

Hydrangea's are putting on a show

Have so many blooms this year I have vases of hydrangeas all over the house, even have enough to put a bouquet in the powder room, check it out. I think the drought may finally be over!

Garden Produce

Garden has finally kicked in, spent the evening pulling weeds and bringing in the crops, till the mosquito's ran me back in the house. Looks like we will have zucchini bread this week, even sent a bag of Zucchini and squash to Bob's office that is if Shannon remembers to take it in. I ended up with 3 bags of goodies to give away and plenty more for us!

Thomas the Train

Aunt Sherry and I took Tyler on a little adventure today in Blowing Rock to see Thomas the Train, he loved getting to ride the Thomas train and never fussed a bit on the 2 hour trip going up or coming back, poor little guys crashed when we got back home, 4:00 is a little late for a nap but what's a Nanny to do when he can't keep his eyes open another minute?

Acrylic Frame

So many of you have ask to see the acrylic frame I did in class last week so here it is, so easy, and would make great gifts!!

Fishin Trip

I have so may pictures of Shannon from his yearly fishing trip but I have never gotten around to getting them on layouts, included in my Close To My Heart kit was the perfect paper and embellishments!! Shannon may be getting a fishin scrapbook for Christmas this year!

Close To My Heart is finally in

Finally got my kit in and have been busy making layouts from the level 1 kits, wow they are so easy and fast made 6 layouts in less than 2 hours!!!! The hardest part is picking out pictures of Tyler to use on the layouts, I have WAY to many of the little guy

Baby Shower gift

Here is the scrapbook/Frame I made for Wendy's shower, talk about intimidated! I think I am the only one I know who is crazy enough to give a scrapbooking gift to a scrapbook store owner!! I wasn't able to go to the shower, I was really looking forward to going, I just love all things baby related but I was able to get her gift to her later in the week, it was really a challenge to do something boyish but she seemed to really like it, she will be able to put the baby's photo along with his older brother in one frame, I used a shadow box frame from Michael's that is hinged so she can add photos really easy to it, I know it is hard to see but the little yellow notes in 4 of the boxes is where she will insert the photo's
